Gulffood Manufacturing 2014

Being a foodie all the way, I was thrilled when Buzzingtales  got  invited to attend the official opening of the Inaugural Gulfood Manufacturing 2014, the region’s biggest and most significant trade show launch highlighting food logistics, processing, packaging and ingredients sectors.

The exhibition was inaugurated by a member of the UAE’s ruling family and VIP dignitaries. The exhibition was also attended by a host of global food specialists and industry leaders from key industries.

Gulfood Manufacturing featured a three-day exhibition from 9-11 November 2014 and three-day conference, titled ‘The Food & Beverage Industrial Investment Summit’, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Also, organised was the three highly anticipated annual niche food shows The Speciality Food Festival, SEAFEX, and Sweets & Snacks Middle East.

Amid growing regional demand for specialty food, seafood and sweet and snacks, a contingent of global food experts debated market trends and identified growth opportunities for regional businesses at this year’s Autumn Food & Drink Forum, a specialist conference running alongside a trio of nice food shows – The Speciality Food Festival 2014, SEAFEX 2014 and Sweets & Snack 2014 – at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from November 9-11.

Encompassing cutting-edge presentations, interactive panel discussions and case studies on key strategies, innovations and solutions for business expansion, the three-day forum featured dedicated segments on sector-specific industries such as coffee, confectionery, seafood and aquaculture, as well wider topics covering innovative in the food service market, risks and opportunities in the global food supply chain, and product, ingredient and technology developments.
